All about being REBI Franchisee / Partner
REBI has a multi layered Franchise system at the heart of its operations. REBI's Franchising Model is a network of “Property Shops” through the franchisee route giving opportunity to a large number of entrepreneurs across India.
The franchising model allows entrepreneurs with varying investment levels to become part of the network and enjoy equal opportunity to harvest the golden opportunity in the real estate market, through the huge basket of products and services as well as a unique revenue sharing model, enabling faster break even and good returns on investment. The three tier franchising model has been designed to provide the network with necessary width and depth of geographic coverage.
The base level partner is the RETA (Real Estate Transaction Advisor), who operates from home, in the locality as the area of operation; the middle level partner is the Franchisee who covers an area comprising at least 20 localities and the top level partner, a Master Franchisee is in charge of a territory comprising a minimum of 20 such franchisees.
Each Franchisee and Master Franchisee will have a retail outlet called the property shop, which would have uniform look and feel manned by trained staff that would provide customers with a uniform experience. Each network partner of REBI has exclusive rights to the territory they operate in and are appointed to. The entire operations of the REBI network are real time through an exclusive real estate technology platform and central database.
REBI with a mission of organizing the unorganized real estate sector is floating a chain of 3000 property shops across India, covering urban as well as rural areas.

Basic Requirements for Joining REBI
- Qualification: The minimum educational qualification to partner with REBI is ‘Graduate’ in any discipline with a basic understanding of real estate industry which is required to ensure maturity.
- Financial background: The investment capability of the prospect is another criterion for the eligibility of a partner. It would also help in understanding his/her acumen to handle financial situations during the course of the business.
- Present Occupation: The present occupation as well as the past records of the prospect would help us in knowing the extent of training required for the individual. Some prospects might not be from the real estate services, but given the enthusiasm and zeal, he/she can do wonders by gaining required experience in this field.
- Managerial capabilities: This is an important attribute as the franchisee would have to work with individuals with different mindset and get things done as a good leader. Managerial capabilities are required for a partner to be eligible since he/she would have to interact with different personnel which includes his customers, the builders, regional managers and the Corporate office.
- Attitude: This is an important parameter. A partner having ample knowledge and skills, but a wrong attitude can tarnish self image as well as the credibility of the organization. Hence, a right attitude is essential and that comes by first believing in the idea/concept. If the individual is himself/herself not convinced about the potentials of the business, then he/she will not carry the right attitude.
- Exposure to real estate functioning: Any prospect would have had some kind of exposure either directly or indirectly in real estate services – in terms of buying, selling or renting a house etc. This forms one of the criterions for selection.
- Geographical knowledge of the area: Due to the inherent nature of the business, a partner should know and understand the real estate business potential in his/her geographical area. The partner is not only a facilitator for transacting properties, but also a consultant to his customers.
- Communication skills: Since the real estate industry involves a lot of interaction with customers from various walks of life, the articulating skills and the ability to convince should be inherent in the prospective individual.

The master franchisee is responsible for the following activities in his/her Territory;
- Set up a REBI Property Shop with the assistance of the REBI corporate office
- Establish Franchise Network under him/her
- Buyer/Seller Lead Generation, Revenue Generation from Real Estate Transaction & related activities
- Promote the property shop activities in his/her region as well as across India
- Training Support; Co-ordinate and ensure the REBI training for the Property shop team
- Assistance to the Franchisees' Property Shop Set Up/Promotion and Development
- Support the Franchisee in identifying and recruiting suitable manpower
- Provide business activity support to the franchisees below him or her in terms of suitable project identification, validating market surveys, making presentations to the builders and guidance in RETA (Real Estate Transaction Agents) appointment
- Updating Corporate Office about Market Status and working towards enhancement of the same
- Shop Operations responsibilities: Co-ordinate and assist the team members to set up the operations, share market intelligence information pertaining to the assigned areas
- Ensure the ongoing operations meet the standards of the company
- Master Franchisee Shop Setup Requirements
- Carpet area of 1000 sq.ft. to 1500 sq.ft for the Property Shop.
- Infrastructure as per REBI's specifications
- Willing to operate business on truth and integrity
- Master Franchisee Team Requirement
The Shop will be headed by the Master Franchisee owner or a personnel appointed by the Owner who would be designated as Centre Manager. Rest of the team for the Master Franchisee Shop will be as below.

Being a RETA of REBI
Join REBI as RETA (Real Estate Transaction Agent) RETA's are the bottom of the pyramid of the REBI system. Every locality across the country will have one RETA. The RETA will play the role of the bridge between the customers and the franchise. Depending upon the investment capacity of the individual, they can set up their operations. REBI internally divided the RETA in to three categories: Triple star rated - property on wheels RETA who owns a car and branded as per REBI norms with some special technology support on the car. Double star rated - a small outlet equal to size of an ATM counter in good visibility area as per the Company norms and identity with technology support and finally. Single star rated - SOHO (small office home office) RETA working from home. In all the categories, the Companies’ support and the activities do not vary. The only difference will be that the customer experience will vary.
